Transport Australia society Victoria

The Victoria branch of the TAs.

About the Transport Australia society (TAs) Victoria

The Victorian Branch of TAs is a voluntary committee of like minded professionals seeking to contribute to the national policy objectives of TAs through policy development and industry submissions, while providing a program of activities for local members.

Our local activities seek to foster debate in our industry, improve the knowledge of professionals, encourage young professionals and provide networking opportunities.

The Branch committee generally meets on the first Tuesday of each month to plan forthcoming activities and discuss policy and advocacy opportunities. We also hold one seminar each month generally excluding January and December. The committee is a mix of government, private and academic professionals with varied experience and technical backgrounds in the transport sector.

Engineers Australia Victoria Division is based on Level 31 of 600 Bourke Street in Melbourne and we host all our seminars at this central venue.

The Victorian Branch has a long history representing transport professionals within Engineers Australia and is proud to now be able to continue that work through TAs.
